Pledgeling was a sponsor at last week’s Cause Marketing Forum, which brings together brands and nonprofits to find ways to build a better world and a better bottom line. Pledgeling had the opportunity to showcase how to incorporate technology into a cause campaign by designing a mobile experience using "Pledge to donate" via text messaging. We asked the conference attendees to join us for "Say Something Nice Day" on June 1st. Everyone was invited to text in a keyword and get a link to a simple mobile donation form, and Pledgeling would make a donation to a variety of cause impacts.
The campaign was a success with 45% audience participation, an 87% click through rate and 92% of participants making a pledge! Here’s a breakdown of the pledges:
